Fargoin 6 Posted January 17, 2014 I will be there. Its going to be my first race. I am not very fast, or mildly fast for that matter, i.e Bike Slut has to wait for me on a legal DRZ and he's old and mostly crippled. I have a couple of friends doing it, so i was easily convinced. All this time I thought peer pressure was just B.S. Maybe there is such a thing...
robertaccio 412 Posted January 17, 2014 good choice for a first timer a qualifier is easy to manage. just show and go, meet your transfer time check points and go for it in the special tests, oh yea and move over when faster guys catch up to you. And have fun doing it. viddy used on the West Chec site for reference to race zone "Some trails you will ride in the enduro" PS that is NOT single track by my definition. Honestly Jason; you'll be faster than I am in no time- you're just learning the subtle differences between speed on a bicycle vs moto When I gave you the tip on whoops, next time through you were SO much faster; stayed right with me! Important thing is to ride with faster people, and see how they do it (or ask)
Spaugh 1 Posted January 17, 2014 Good luck Jason. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun. I'll be in AZ at a family wedding this weekend so no dirtbiking for me.
Fargoin 6 Posted January 18, 2014 Thanks Spaugh, and thanks Robert for the link, I was having a hard time finding any video with more than just fire roads for the area. Bob, I said mostly crippled, your middle finger still works great, and I meant relatively old.
robertaccio 412 Posted January 21, 2014 been seeing lots of Westchec reports with Nick Burson OA on his Beta. We need the SDAR report! more unedited with AA rider Harry on his well deserved 2014 Blais Racing KTM ride (Harry's Dad checks in here on SDAR from time to time)
