Hi, I'm new to San Diego and new to KMT. I've had a string of Harleys and a few Ducatis.

I have had my SM-T for just a couple of months and commuting regularly to Oceanside for work. Enjoying this weather quite a lot.

Any SM-T owners out there?

Welcome! Are you riding one of THESE ?

Plenty of dirt roads and back roads to explore & as mentioned, the weather allows the outside activity.

Does anyone know of any other forum members that ride an SMT? I'd like to chat about the LC8 motor and meet up for a ride.

Paulmbowers has that motor, but the adv version...he's also not the first person I would choose to chat with...or ride with

But, YOU might like him fine

There are a variety of bikes here and sometimes the best thing to do is post up a ride. I'd imagine yours would be a back roads ride and many here have more road oriented machines in addition to the DS. Some of the most fun I've had has been a backroads ride ON my DS.

Post up and see who shows up.

Good to know, thanks. The SMTs are very much road bikes but can do some fire trails with some different tread.

I saw an SMT earlier today. He was at the intersection of 395 and Mission in Fallbrook around 7:30 this morning. Rider wore military boots/backpack and the bike still had dealer plates on it. He went north on the 15 and was hauling butt. Nice looking bike to say the least.
