svjeremy 0 Posted February 1, 2012 Stay behind the leader and the route is set. Any variation means not a part of the ride and will be segregated from the group. To me at least.
ADV Bum 205 Posted February 1, 2012 No Rogue Riders or Lurkers who will show up on the day of the ride and hi-jack other riders or set the riding pace! What exactly does that mean? I you are not on the list and show up for the ride, you will be ridiculed and ostracised by the main pack.
X-country-Rider 0 Posted February 1, 2012 Looks like lunch the first day is at the Hideout by Lake Henshaw. I'm thinking that we bring food for the evening at the camp. What about breakfast fruit and then stop in Julian for breakfast or should we have breakfast at the campsite? Up to you guys. For lunch on the second day I'm thinking Mananas Mexican in Alpine. SCHWINN 0 Posted February 1, 2012 I think this is written very well and should be a motto except for the rogue thing. Lots of great peeps show up day of ride without announcement and the rest of the rules apply as stated. This should be copied and pasted on every ride unless otherwise noted. "Ride any bike, as long you can keep up with the rest of the group Bike must be in good mechanical condition, properly maintained and with good tires Bring all the essential spare parts This is not a race, the rider in front will be responsible for the rider behind him or her. Unless it’s obvious, stop at all Ys or Ts and wait for the next rider. Stop before and after a water crossing, big ruts, and other hazards and make sure the rider in front and behind get through safely. Warn the person behind if needed. No Rogue Riders or Lurkers who will show up on the day of the ride and hi-jack other riders or set the riding pace! IT WILL BE THE RIDE LEADER OF EACH GROUP WHO WILL SET UP THE PACE."
