How is that going to work out?

I saw lots of Az. plates at Big Bear Dualies Ride

I am thinking of plating my 450X in Az

My aunt said I could use her address, she said they plate everything.

I will only add a brake light plate and mirror, to the bike, maybe 1 pound.party.gif

A Shoria battery should save me 4 pounds.

Could lose another 4 with exhaust.

Would be nice to have a plated bike that shreds at the track.ph34r.gif

But legally you are not fully clear with an AZ plate for long term use.

Now if it could be CA plated... but the 7500 miles thing for transfer seems to only be valid for bikes with an emission sticker(or something similar) which a 2 stroke will not have.

So the AZ plate will not be a problem even with your license being from CA?

I have never seen a cop at the track, well I ride the track with a cop "Jake#48"

I have a few customers with Oregon plates and Nevada plates.

Why would you need a plate at the track?

Perhaps the legalities and ramifications of plating a bike in another state should be discussed in the Members Only Forums ?

Got a text from someone about nuking this thread....I see no need to nuke it.

Glad there is no bomb threat.

Seriously though most of us ride in at least two states. Maybe his aunt has more room in her garage and has been thinkin about taking up dual sporting. Isn't it supposed to be the UNITED States? Free to pass state borders. At least I thought that was the idea.
