    Me vs. Deer

I have to admit this is one of my biggest fears. Having hit three deer with a car in my lifetime, this plays in the back of my mind every time I saddle up for a bike cruise. All I can hope, is that if it does ever happen, I don't start crying for my mommy.

    Tag-O-Rama

I am kinda bummed no one got the peg leg pile. I have got to get a bike working so I can play. Its no fun having a garage filled with broken bikes. I haven't ridden since august. :-(

    DOT Front Tires

Another fan of the scorpion. The 606 cups horribly on my xr600 with high freeway speeds, the scorpion, not at all. Way better traction with the scorpion rear on wet pavement than a 606 rear. The only issue with the scorpion rear is that the aggresive side knobs tear up my plastic chain guard.

    Anza Borrego Equipment Requirements

Thanks for the heads up. I think I might have missed the flyer, probably because I'm on a phone and can't download it. I guess that dot tires are a little easier on the terrain??? Maybe thats why they are enforcing this now????

    Anza Borrego Equipment Requirements

Does this mean that only tagged bikes are allowed on the desert dash and if not are dot tires necessary for green sticker bikes?

    a moment of silence

Personally, I hate funnerals. Between the ages of 8 and 10 I had the oppertunity to attend 10 or so for various family and friends of my family. This had a very ill and negative effect. First off let me say that I know I have a very jaded perspective and am almost positive I will piss off at least someone here. Thanks Bob for giving me another chance tostir things up... great topic. Anyway. Funnerals started to seem to me to be about the family and friends putting on a show of emotions to somehow how either prove their love for the lost or turn the attention away from lost to focus that attention on to their grief. It seemed selfish. The people who were not flowing with emotion all seemed to be there out of obligation, trying their best to put on a somber face to show some kind of respect. It all seems phooey to me. I will do my best to honor the dead by remebering the lessons I learned from them durring their lives. Keep the silly ceremonies. When I die it will be up to those who love me to decide how they have to deal with it. there are way to many religious and cultural backgrounds involved for me to have much say. I will stay out of it if I can.
  9. Why does it smell???? Ohhh duh. Cause you're in farmland. Chemical fertilizers and mucho nitrogen. Hope the stench helps keep your eyes open.
  10. This has been the most fun I've had since my bike broke. Ride GOOFY ride. Almost home.
  11. Not sure but a lil blonde support might be just what you need. Ride on man.
  12. Doesn't get much more "epic" than this.
