Guest Crusty Posted October 9, 2011 It seemed their was little to do in Puerto Penasco so we are looking into Sedona. Looking for tracks and suggested rides, hikes MTB. Looks like Oak Creek is good. How far is the Grand Canyon. Looks like there is good riding in Flagstaff, but could be cold in January. Staying from 1-6-2012- to 1-13-2012 Anyone want to meet up and ride for a day or two, the place sleeps 4 adults. Found a timeshare for the week. Sadona Summit .https://www.diamondr...m/Sedona-Summit CHEAP. MTB Heaven. http://www.mountainbikeheaven.com/ Sedona loop http://www.advrider....ad.php?t=390951 Any suggestions. Thank's Craig. TrophyHunter 15 Posted October 9, 2011 http://www.coconinotrailriders.org/ http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coconino/maps/index.shtml Order their maps. Waterproof and well laid out. http://montezumacastle.areaparks.com/ About an hour before Sedona. We went thru the Castle and the Well. Short walking tour but worth the stop and $5. http://www.desertusa.com/mag02/aug/sed1.html Schnebly Hill Rd. We took the truck but also saw a Camry on it. Great red rock views and overall view from the top. We took it over to 17 and you can make the loop back on tar. Nice forest drive.
