klr chase vehicle

For what it is worth...

I am considering a bid.

I can understand. Good year Klr with a very versatile side car. Seems to be built well and not that far away. If I could it would of been gone already.

The side car kits can be found for under 2 grand. A good KLR runs about 2,500 to 3,800 bucks, Do the math.

there is a company, I forget the link that make those kits just for KLRs. I think its in seattle and the

price is far below 10grand. When you have the KLR guru himself here in SD, Eagle Mike, and his crew, One weekend and thats a done deal.

What the heck kind of front end is that? How is that any better than stock? Looks home made to me.

No need for gear if you have a sidecar holding you up.

Old style leading link front end, pretty common on hacks and heavy old bikes.

The leading link front end is 2 grand through DMC sidecars. If you already own a DRZ, doing it yourself is cheaper, if you have the time. But doing a quick look at the sidecar page, fis 10 grand buy it now price is fair. If the bike runs good and is as good as it looks, it is not a bad deal. You may be able to do it all yourself cheaper, but this one is done. I wouldn't buy it, but it is cool.
