Could not imagine riding in sand in that "gear," would be very uncomfortable after a while -
Thanks. By the way I actually moved to Valley Center So I'll be linking up with you guys more often for rides once I am healed up enough to ride for a few hours.

In 2011 I linked up with you guys and rode to the Colorado River, camped and we rode back. We started and ended at the Ocotillo Wells ranger station. I want to do this ride with my club, Orange County Dualies. Does anyone have the GPS tracks they can send me. My email is madmikescycles@gmail.com. Thanks

I use one. No issues. I used it on my plated XR 250R because the little Baja Designs battery pack could not keep up with the lights, grip heaters & GPS system. I totaled the bike, I now use same actual battery in my KTM 450EXC.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY. Looks like a tiny tail light, so I am asuming a 2009 450X?

Sign In Front Of A Business In North Dakota
Papa Smurf replied to SCHWINN's topic in A Forum for GENERAL PHOTOS & Videos
That is funny. You can tell it is photo shopped and meant to be a joke. But some people ar gullable and start passing stuff along as true, when it is not, and in many cases never meant to be. Good example is cell phone use pumping gas. Someone started a rumor that a gas station blew up because of a cell phone. Now gas stations ban cell phone use while pumping gas. Fact is, no gas station blew up because of cell phone use, and a cell phone can not cause a gas explosion. Every year or so I get these crazy chain e-mail letters stating something crazy as a real fact, when in fact totally fabricated. I am sure this sign inflamed alot of people, too bad it is funny as heck. With freedom of speech comes the freedom to piss people off or offend them. GOD Bless America -
That was awesome.

If it is just you, your bike & gear, a Ranger will do fine. I have a 1995 Ranger, bought it new. The Odo, sometimes works, it has well over 220,000 miles on it. Hauls me, my LC4 and gear no problem. Good gas mileage and low, almost no maintainance. Cheapest to take care of vehicle I have ever owned. I have had a 1991, 1995 & 1999 F-150. The gas mileage was not good. The 91 & 95 where 300 inline six's. I abused the crap out of them, bought them both new. The 99, I bought for my son had V-6. My favorite was the 1995 Eddie Bauer extra cab, was super roomy and comfortable. The 1999 was an extra cab also, but I did not like it near as much as the 1995. The 1991 was a regular cab and my first new vehicle, very comfortable for me, but with bench seat, bad for passengers. I needed seat all the way foward, to reach the pedals. I have fit two bikes in my Ranger on many occassions, I use it for work and will not part with it.

He stated in an interview this will last until October. Jesus stated "The first will be last, and the last will be first." in a parable whe talking to his Disciples. As a Christian and someone who reads the Bible daily, Jesus himself stated only The Father "knows the day or the hour, not even the SON knows." I guess Harold Camping forgot to read his Bible. He should probably stop teaching about it, he does not seem to be good at it.

Neat tool. Really can help you negotiate a deal.

Don't waste your time. If he sends you $$, it is most likely a stolen number. The reality is someone who is on a ship or oil platform and has is own agents probably can afford a new quad. Could also be another scam to get personal info. IP address may be in Romania or someplace. My wife & I sell on Ebay full time and have had people try to by with stolen info on many occasions (My wife the other day on a $600.00 item, PayPal caught it). Probably trying to get info to buy on your account and hope it ships before it is found out.

I kinda did the same thing. I bought and learned how to ride on a CRF 230L. After about 18 months I got a KTM 625SXC. The little Honda was great, but too slow for the freeway.

The leading link front end is 2 grand through DMC sidecars. If you already own a DRZ, doing it yourself is cheaper, if you have the time. But doing a quick look at the sidecar page, fis 10 grand buy it now price is fair. If the bike runs good and is as good as it looks, it is not a bad deal. You may be able to do it all yourself cheaper, but this one is done. I wouldn't buy it, but it is cool.
