isde97 29 Posted February 1, 2011 Some pics. I am not too competent with a camera, and digging it out of a wet jacket probably wasn't the best treatment. Since this was my first time meeting everyone riding, I am not going to be too good with names. Complicating the issue is the popularity of orange KTMs and dark riding gear- it makes y'all look alike. These are from my first stop coming down from Thomas Mtn. Once we got out of the clouds, this was really fun. The Hippo Hands on the 990 are totally dorky but effective. Dorkiness became more fashionable as the day went on. More to come... I like this road too. kkug, I recognize the jacket in this case. xr650l bum: I don't remember this guy's name, but I think he is a new rider and looking pretty stylish here: Looking forward to the next ride, in better weather. It had only been drizzling a little when we left Warner Springs, and I figured Black Canyon would be almost as fast and much more involving, thus keeping us warmer, or less able to think about our misery. Goofy Footer 539 Posted February 1, 2011 Rolling up to the Mexican diner after Team DR650 (LucidMayhem and TrophyHunter) wisely left for a dry ride home and Drabnor on the CRF and recycled on the DRZ-SM split atop Thomas Mountain, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of Orange club ride did I get myself into. At least I had xr650l bum on my side. Too bad the frozen fingers, rain/sleet and cold were against us all. Usually I'm a picture taker but icy fingers and two pairs of gloves limited me to these pics. Looming weather on the truck trail headed up Either turn your monitor or bend your neck, I don't know why its posting sideways. This gentleman who shall remain nameless and faceless here offered me his extra pair of gloves (which were awesome) and this is how I say thanks. Still don't know why this won't post correctly Two fingers for peace OR two pairs of gloves? DigDug and Bum Thanks KKug for leading and putting on the ride. I definitely want to check out the trail again. Your KTM with the rekluse looks fun, maybe too fun, hence why I chose not to ride (steal) it. I enjoyed riding with everybody.
