racerbill 0 Posted November 9, 2010 My Thor Ride gear was fairly waterproof a few years ago but not anymore. I've tried silicone sprays and something from REI but it didn't really help much. Does anyone have a suggestion for something they've tried and it worked ?
dirt dame 561 Posted November 9, 2010 No, mine did the same thing. It worked really well up until last winter and then I got hosed on a ride at McCain in it. I was thinking of looking into some of this stuff. http://www.nikwax.com/en-us/products/productdetail.php?productid=267 Unless that's what you found at REI and it didn't work. Zenosan 2 Posted November 9, 2010 If it is serious rain I use a rain suit. But that is only in an emergency. If it is raining that hard I usually take the Jeep-it is dry and has a heater. Can't help you otherwise.
