Jaynen 0 Posted December 22, 2009 I was poking around on dirtyimpreza as I have been curious about rally-x or rallycross the dirt version of autocross for a while now. The socal guys mentioned that I should try Rallymoto since I have a bike. I was not even aware that such a thing existed. But apparently you get to ride like a bat out of hell on closed roads and rally special stages like WRC but on a bike and then do transitional public road sections between rally stages. The California Rally Series has some races for it from 2009 and will probably have a 2010 season also Plus the California Rally School in Ridgecrest is going to have a class on it http://www.crsrallyschool.com/
dsfox 0 Posted December 22, 2009 sounds cool, I'm come cheer you guys on... (I somehow didn't inherit the "bat out of hell" gene or I just haven't been riding long enough to enjoy that) ..but always fun to watch others put it into practice

socalsupermoto 0 Posted March 24, 2010 I just heard about the rallymoto series. sounds perfect since riding around on firetrails is what i like to do anyway, it would be perfect to have the road closed! question is this, my avon distanzia's seem to work really well on loose flat firetrails, would i be better off with a knobby? on those roads it seems like a flat track tire or distanzias would be better due to a bigger contact patch no?
