Joliet 0 Posted November 14, 2008 I just heard also, unfortunate. My family would stop there most time we were in OW for a snack. The Blue Inn is going to be packed now! (Hi-jack/rant) The snack is convenient, but it would be nice to be able to count on them (Blu Inn) for a fuel stop. They have to be making good money on their fuel, and 3 of the last 4 times I went there they were out. It is the pits trying to plan a ride in the area not knowing if they will have fuel or not. Awsome management. (Hi-jack/rant off) Thanks for the update on the Desert Rose. Ken

bikeslut 1 Posted November 14, 2008 It's not the size of your tank but how you use it that counts. that's what guys with small tanks always say back on topic... do we know the cause of the fire? are they re-building?

I think the Blue Inn burned them down to eliminate competition. Just kidding, probably not funny?? My sense of humor is bent sometimes. From what I heard, nobody was injured and that they are working the insurance issues at this point. I imagine they would rebuild since it's a pretty popular place during the riding season. I imagine they would rebuild since it's a pretty popular place during the riding season. that kind of gallows humor is mild compared to mine... my favorite? I was staying with my mom in the hospital; she was complaining about the "bracelet" being uncomfortable, and wanting it off... she was fairly delirious, and kept babbling away about it... the nurse tried explaining why she needed it, as did I... she kept complaining... I told her that I personally would remove the bracelet as soon as they put the toe tag on her... the nurse was in SHOCK! My mom thought it was funny (later... like months later)
