"The Tugger " & Tusk Valve Stem Puller

Recommended Posts

So Chris volunteered to tow me, and here it is:

"The Tugger" - http://www.thetugger.com saved my ass...

Already have a tugger on my 520 (see above)......just ordered a front and rear tugger for the 620 in case I have to manhandle it on some future ride :D:D .....or tow someone again :D .......or get towed myself! :D:D ........out in (and/or out of) BFE.....Ordered through Rocky Mountain ATV

Also ordered a Tusk Valve Stem Puller after struggling to get my fat fingers between the tire and rim to line up the valve stem the other night when I changed the tires on my 620.....

On the same page as the valve stem puller is a bead holder, which is a very handy tool when changing tires by yourself. :D Ken

Yep, already have that item in the fenderbag along with a 3oz bottle of windex so the tire can slide easier along the rim :D

I also carry a Second Wind pump.....nice unit because you can use it as a CO2 inflator but you're not screwed when you run out of cartridges since it's also a hand pump!:D

K. Ordered a front one. Note: they have a disclaimer saying it's for occasional lifting on the "can I tow with it" question. So no whinin' from me if it breaks under tow.

I googled it to search for opinions. Do not order http://www.tlctugger.com/ , it's not the same thing. :D Who knew....

Better amend that order and add the rear strap..... the rear strap is the necessary one (IMHO).......it'll come in more handy than the front for yanking your bike around and/or looking for a place to put a tow strap if you need to pull someone......the front one is a "nice to have" but not as critical as the rear strap.....

You're new around here huh? :D ........trust me, it'll work if you need to tow with it.....pulled Strega ~50+ miles with one on my 520 last May......read about (and see it in action) here: http://www.dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2523

Chris and I were both told it wasn't "Recommended" for towing, but it sure saved our asses. As SOON as I got home from the Bar10 ride I ordered a front and rear tugger, and a Garmin 60CSx GPS.

Chris has a tendency to encourage me to spend more money on a regular basis :D

Took ur advice and added the back too. I'm happy with the grab handles on the WR but looked again at routing a tow strap thru them and the Tugger would be a cleaner application.

...and yes, I am new here.

Incredible pics on the link. My kinda vacation.
