Now, now....let's not incite anybody to put up a whole bunch of little attachments that have already been put up in five or six other threads. ;):(

I put a link to a google earth placemark in my post in the Member's only thread.

http://www.dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2908

If anyone needs directions, PM me. Planning on meeting at 9 AM, but let me know if everyone wants to go earlier, then I'm up for that too.

This isn't expected to be an all balls no brains ride. We'll get as technical as anyone wants to, but no sense trying to ride terrain that's too demanding for a given bike or rider.

Also, I'll be on the trials bike so speeds will be reasonable, i.e., I'll be in 5th gear in the open sections and most of the rest of you will be in 3rd or so.

Should be fun,

Daryl

Can't open the link for meeting place.

Will it be a loop, same way back or only one way?

Alex.

There are a couple different ways in and out. I'll try to point them out on the ride.

I just checked the link and it worked OK for me. It is a Google Earth placemark. You might have to save it to your computer and then open Google Earth and then drag/drop the placemark into Google Earth. I've had one computer that was flakey that way - all the rest will open GE by double clicking the .kml file.

I'll PM you directions.

So are Alex and Spaugh doing the North County OHV ride or are you still looking to go up to Big Bear? I really shouldn't go since I have a huge homework assignment due Sunday night for my class - but that's what all-nighters are for...

Mickey is off the bike this weekend, so it's just me...

You think you have time to make a good ride happen? Maybe fast pace with not too many of us?
