I went on Saturday to the Julian Stagecoach campground and checked out the " VINTAGE BIKE SHOW". 80% are British bikes, but some rare japan and German bikes where on display.

ran into Randy and Tom who drove out for some small talks with the guys. I had to drive the Jeep, since I am not motorcycle ready yet.

I don’t know if I could pick a favorite.  It was neat to see an Ariel Square Four and a Vincent Black Shadow.  Not as big of an event as I expected but it was a nice day to look at bikes.

Photo #5 with the Yamaha RD400 (red/orange)...brought back a bunch of High School memories.  The RD400 was the bike!!!  Back then we said the RD stood for Rapid Death...so many guys in school crashed on those bikes.

Great photos!

It blows my mind that those guys used to ride those Triumphs, Nortons, BSAs etc. out in our deserts and down Baja.

I think Steve McQueen rode the Mexican 1000 on a Triumph.
