Corral Canyon Trail Maintenance, Clean Up & Toys for Tots Benefit

San Diego Adventure Riders adopted 2 motorcycle trails at the Corral Canyon OHV Area many years ago. Please come join us on December 14th to help trim brush from overgrown trails, pick up litter, etc. It would be great if we could get at least 10 people to show up to help.
Volunteering really helps out the forest service...the more volunteer hours they have on record, the more funds they are allotted for future upgrades. See more details in the event photo...there will be lunch and raffle included.
This event is put on by San Diego Off Road Coalition in conjunction with other groups, and will also benefit Toys for Tots.

I had this on schedule with good intent. But now I need to move a bunch of gear (Moto, Tools and spares) from a storage garage to another location and Saturday 14DEC is the day.....

'Twas a good day for doing trail maintenance and trash clean-up out at Corral Canyon today. It was a good turnout, at least 30 to 40 people, the vehicles were all 4x4's, except for 2 motorcycle guys...just Ed Stovin (president of San Diego Off-Road Coalition) and I, a poor turnout from the motorcycling community. 
Ed and I worked trimming brush on Greenhorn trail, he started at one end and I from the other end. Doc had fun too, and at one point he jumped up while laying on the trail and started barking a lot...he heard or smelled an animal close by. He'll always alert me if some animal gets close, I love that.
Afterwards, free hot dogs, chips, sodas, cookies and a raffle. I won a little goody bag from Bilstein and also a free entry to the 62nd Annual Terra Del Sol Desert Safari and Expo. I've never gone to a 4x4 event, maybe I'll go this time.
Tierra Del Sol 4 Wheel Drive Club donated $5000 to the Tread Lightly organization, awesome !
People also brought toys to donate for Toys for Tots.
