Now that the UTVs have gone home 08/11/24

Back in July, it seemed that the Uinta mountains were just swarmed with UTV joyriders.  But since August has begun, it looks like the summer season for these vehicles is over.  There is a lot of thunderstorm activity in August, so maybe the nearby locals don't wish to encounter all the lightning strikes up on the mountain.  I had the trails pretty much all to myself, last weekend.  If you like scenery. this is THE place to go.  I hated to leave around 3, but it's a bit of a drive home, and I wanted an early supper.  Besides, there's always next weekend....at least until the first new storm of the autumn.

Bugz Beta was ready to go exploring, and the weather was perfect with partly cloudy skies and cool breezes.  The dirt was perfect from a rainstorm the afternoon before and the early summer bugs were a thing of the past.  The only traffic jam I encountered was a small herd of cattle being brought up the road by three people on horseback. Other than that, only a few people were out and about, and they were on main routes.

Doing great and still riding my converted street legal pit bike around the high desert where I live. I haven't had the itch to go big bike'n again. but my best memories are riding with the group here. I'm an admin' on Z125owners forum, and have 2 FB z125 groups as well for the z125 pro. I thought i would get tired of it in a few years, but I still giggle under my helmet on every ride. And if you love bikes, who doesn't want a street legal pit bike to squirt around on. Glad to see your still here and keeping the sport alive and well.

I'll check in in another 6 months to see what's up.
