cj54x 57 Posted August 23, 2022 I took a ride out Pine Creek this morning to check on the Valley Fire. All of the flames are knocked down but it's still smoldering. The ground crews are still out there to keep an eye on things but all air support has stopped. It looks like it started near the cabins by the first creek crossing. They stopped the fire at the road that goes to Noble Mines and it did not get into Mt. Laguna. In one spot the fire was on the west side of Pine Creek Road and came within a mile or two of my house. I think they will need to close Pine Creek Road for a while to keep people from driving off-road. 1 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
