New to SDAR - Returning to Dual Sport 10 years later

Hello all,

My name is Ron, I live in Vista and just purchased a used 1999 KTM 640 that I'm in the process of getting trail ready.

I was a charter member of the Orange County Dualies back in the 90s and rode an XR650L.

Sold the bike about 10 years ago and bought a race car to run at El Cajon. That all went away a few years ago when they closed EC.

Recently my son, who I used to ride with, got a job in sales over at North County Yamaha and got back into a bike, I went for a ride with him on a loaner bike and got the bug again.

Ole '99 needs a little TLC and should be trail ready in about a month. Looking forward to a few rides in SD county.
