Anyone going out to OW for the dinner next weekend? It is sponsored by North County Yahama. My son works there and I'm going out Saturday afternoon to help serve, spend the night, and ride green sticker territiory with my son on Sunday. I haven't had a chance to get out on a local ride yet since I got the 640 running reliably. Thought I might run in to a couple of you out there. RP640

New to SDAR - Returning to Dual Sport 10 years later

Hello all, My name is Ron, I live in Vista and just purchased a used 1999 KTM 640 that I'm in the process of getting trail ready. I was a charter member of the Orange County Dualies back in the 90s and rode an XR650L. Sold the bike about 10 years ago and bought a race car to run at El Cajon. That all went away a few years ago when they closed EC. Recently my son, who I used to ride with, got a job in sales over at North County Yamaha and got back into a bike, I went for a ride with him on a loaner bike and got the bug again. Ole '99 needs a little TLC and should be trail ready in about a month. Looking forward to a few rides in SD county. Ron
