Fascinating.

Looks like at least two very fortunate teenagers avoided a terrible fate!

That was one totally Fxx'ed up guy.

I remember reading the book about that whole thing, it was one of those I couldn't put down once I was started.

Works for me?

It's a real shame that the ranch burned down (or was burned down? )......glad I got to visit a few times while it was still intact.....hopefully they'll figure out the cause....natural or otherwise.......

Interesting story about the graves out there. They had 3 possible sites. Manson's group admitted that the bodies were buried 8 feet down. When the exploration was granted, this exploration was only granted a 2 day dig, and were only allowed to dig 3 holes that were 6 feet long and 3 feet deep. And you wonder why "NO BODIES" were found. You gotta hand it to our public servants protecting our public land.

Disappointing, but inevitable whether by manmade or natural causes.

I was just camping in Panamint Springs last Friday. I was explaining to some folks how the cabin had been well respected and even had furniture still in it, books on the shelf, one bed still made, etc. Damn thing was probably burning down as I was praising it's many visitors over all these years...
