bikeslut 1 Posted June 27, 2015 I'm taking a n00bout for a ride "somewhere"...leaving Alpine around 6. he'll be riding either my DRZ and/or my KLR, so the tough stuff would be out. sdhydro 0 Posted June 28, 2015 Well Ill be headed to get some xrays on my left foot in a lil bit. Cant put any pressure on it at this point and it doesn't look to good. This sounds ways to similar with what happened to Ken recently. Also have a good size bruise on the back side off my ankle where Im guessing my foot got caught on the peg between a rock and my the frame of my bike. Ken S 164 Posted June 29, 2015 Hard learned lesson for Rob and I. Buy the best boots you think can afford, then save up even more and get top of the line boots. I was wearing $150 O'Neals. I now have a new pair of Alpine Star Tech 7 Enduro's to break in. Approx $350 at Veys with our 20% SDAR discount. I know Rob was wearing an entry level boot also. sdhydro 0 Posted June 30, 2015 I was wearing $180 gaerne gx-1 boots which are super comfortable right from the get go but I guess that equals to little protection. They called me and confirmed I fractured 4th and 5th metatarsal and have appt for Wednesday. Hope for a quick recovery and hope to be back on the bike in no time.
