EddieEarl 6 Posted May 23, 2015 Battery size doesn't matter - LEDs use way less power than your stock halogen bulb so you're actually gaining more power for heated grips/more lights/etc etc. The Cylops insert only uses 20 watts on Low and 40 watts on High. FI bikes run on DC. Dualsport bikes have DC headlights as well. Older, carbureted pure dirtbikes (CRF-X, KTM XC, WR, KX etc have AC headlights and require the aforementioned rectifier to turn headlight power into DC) Right on - thanks for the explanation. Bp619 104 Posted May 23, 2015 Just got mine installed on my 2015 husky can't wait to ride it tonight looks crazy bright in my garage. I would recommend if you have a 14 or 15 ktm or husky to wait they have a whole kit coming out for bulb housing was kind of a bitch and had to hack up bulb housing. Covered in Dust 163 Posted May 24, 2015 Here are the pics from my 950 Stock low beam LED low beam Stock hi beam LED hi beam Here is the LED hi beam with my $30.00 LED driving lights from China. THe lights from China run on batteries that I put in my tank bag. I also have one in my GoPro mount on my helmet. I have ridden off road with just the light on my helmet and it's plenty of light for moderate riding at night. Covered in Light

The difference on the smaller bikes is huge in comparison.

Covered in Dust 163 Posted May 25, 2015 Here is the light I've bought. The prices are all over the place from China for the same thing, so you have to look around. I've tried the 4LED lights, the 5 LED lights and the 9 LED lights. The 5 seems to be the best bang for the buck. Just make sure you get the light with the battery pack and charger. Also some of the battery packs are bigger than others I'm not sure about the difference in run times on the different packs but I like to get the bigger ma batteries. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10000Lm-5X-T6-LED-Bike-Bicycle-Cycling-Front-Light-Headlight-Battery-Charger-/371330542131?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5675066a33 Here is a link that shows the set up. If enough people want the bracket made I'd run some off for about $20.00 ea. http://dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18342-helmet-light/?hl=lights CiD

Bp619 104 Posted July 13, 2015 Not to ruin cid's manufacturing business for light mounts but I finally got around to making a light mount that could work with my gopro helmet mount for very inexpensive. I basically have the same light cid has and I took this gopro adapter : http://www.amazon.com/Action-Mount%C2%AE-Accessories-Point---Shoot/dp/B00VAXFCEA/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1436814752&sr=8-13&keywords=gopro+camera+mount and on the light took off stock bracket and retapped the threads to adapter the gopro adapter and used some red locktight and seems to work very well/. Covered in Dust 163 Posted January 21, 2016 Well I was going to order the Cyclops bulb for my new 500 but then I was looking at the DealsMachine web site and came across what looks like the same setup for only $16.00. I've been ordering things from this site for a couple of months now and everything has shown up in good working order. It's hard to believe how inexpensive some items are on this site and I always find free shipping. If you see something you like always keep looking because sometimes the same item will be listed at different prices. http://www.dealsmachine.com/best_309176.html CiD
