Otay was not a mess today.

Recommended Posts

.....the mtn, not the valley.

Rick (KLR), David (XR400) and John (DRZ-400) joined in for a great day up Otay TT. We stopped at Doghouse, quick run by the bunkers then east on the border road. Thx to Rick for leading - good pace and enough stops to grab a few photos. Conditions were good with still moist dirt, no dust and some standing water. The water crossing was not flowing but we continued east there and dropped into Barrett Junction. Slab back on 94, lunch at Brody's for 3 of us.

Good to see Rick and David again & meet John finally after some PM's back and forth.

Random pics - for Slaugo and Ryde :)

We got the "KEEP MOVIN'" from BP at a short stop at the 250 monument - so we did.

The road is so graded and graveled over, it's almost not a dirt ride anymore. No huge ruts from the rain. Still a great day!

An absolutely super ride today. Thanks for the post Ken. A perfect "dust free" & "tacky dirt" romp with great riders and a new route which is always icing on the cake. A truly glorious day with some "sneak-up" puddles, a sci-fi sensation from the shadow thrown down from the "Fence", and the road almost all to ourselves. The roughest part was turning back, as heading out was just as I wanted! Thanks to all. Cheers.

Keep moving boys! Thanks to Ken and the other riders! Nice to get out again. I did not take one photo, however.
