tntmo 898 Posted December 14, 2007 Bikeslut just blackberried me that a Ranger told him Corral Canyon would open on Saturday. Anyone else have information to support or kill that hope? I have heard the same thing on a 4x4 board that I lurk on. I'm thinking of heading over there early Sunday to check it out.

dirt dame 561 Posted December 14, 2007 Hmmmm I hope it's going to be open. I miss it.... and hopefully Bear Valley road and Kernan trail will be open too. I would like to ride from Bear Valley road over to Corral Canyon on Saturday. It seems like forever since I did that
dirt dame 561 Posted December 14, 2007 I just had a look at the Cleveland National Forest website. Looks like Bear Valley road is open. The only area that was listed as closed was Wildomar (but who goes there?). Yay! Riding like the old days for me (well it can never be like the old days, can it?)this Saturday. Corral Canyon, here I come!
bikeslut 1 Posted December 14, 2007 She showed me the map- Skye Valley Road is still closed, as is part of Espinoza... but ALL of the interior trails are open. Yee Haw!!
carguy 1 Posted December 14, 2007 Just got this from Richard. Yes it is. I am trying to get the next section open too. Please get the word out that the burned part toward the dam will be open on a trial basis. If people start running off the trail or into the wilderness I will have to close the gates to that part again to keep the haters from shutting the whole thing down. Please get the word out where ever you can : Stay on the trail-the trail stays open. See you out there.
