Sneeker 29 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm curious to know also. I have a cracked rear rim on the 650 and need to switch out hoops. I've been meaning to ask O'side cycle supply about doing that kind of work but haven't made the call yet. Anyone tried ProPrep in Escondido for wheel lacing? kkug 147 Posted October 23, 2014 I have known to do it. It has to be close to OEM stock replacement. Do not undo the spokes ahead of time.I got a system that works for me. Please have the tire off the wheel.PM me. Are the nipples rusty ? They need to be in good shape.
350thumper 336 Posted October 23, 2014 Where you located now kug? I will send this customer over to you . Ive instructed him to remove his rear wheel. I was gonna throw the spokes in for him but if you can true up his wheel and lace it then by all means lets do it. He is also has two broken -missing spokes. Its clean and nice bike ... no rust since the last service

Strega 0 Posted October 23, 2014 If things above don't pan out... Call Steve at C&D Cycle Center, tell him Roger sent ya. His guy Aaron laces up wheels VERY well. 858-277-3298 If I'm not mistaken, he was the guy that used to all the wheel lacing at MotoWorld a while ago, and all the guys that worked there had him lacing up their wheels as well.
