I know lots of guys love it, but my advice is to be careful with the sharp and of the tool, especially when putting the bottom bead on. I've mounted several tires using the tool including a Pirelli Scorpion XCMH front. No issues with cutting the bead. Have you contacted BNP? Perhaps you got one with a defective arm?
