No, "where it's at" is the US market which is the point of this thread as well as the Africa twin thread. You can spout global sales figures all you want where Honda dominates the sub 250cc market. It has nothing to do with the US market.

The bottom line is here, where we all live, the non-Ktm/husky offerings are dismal at best. I have coveted the Aussie wr450 for years and would take a hard look at a comparable bike from any Japanese manufacturer, but the fact is they will not bring them here. Too much squeeze for not enough juice thanks to Gubmint regulations.

I wish I was a good enough rider to ride under powered bikes with crappy suspension but I'm old and probably won't ever be that good so I guess I'll ride state of the art KTM's instead.
