Got this for Father's Day but just got my hands on it yesterday. I have an aluminum post you can rest a bike on for trail side tire changes but I like the fact this is just place and push. No holding the bike up while trying to get the support in place.

I also assembled it backwards - hey, 2 pieces plus a bolt/nut - how hard could it be? It worked anyway for my test shots on the DR. It worked even better - locked in nicely - after making it right.

Adjustable height using the holes - for DS use, I imagine the taller the better.

It comes with a fabric sleeve that I put the red part in, then folded, then velcro strapped - rattle elimination.

Very cool! I have the trail stand. Very similar in concept. Here's Vanjoosten's bike getting a new tube in death valley. :)
