District 38 Plaster/Superstition Series

Recommended Posts

THe second half of the 2007 District 38 Race Seanon starts September 23 and runs just about every other weekend. The race season ends with the calendar year, so a new season starts in January, and the first half of '08 will run through May. Not a lot of fanfare, but a great group of people. If you're headed out to Plaster or Superstition be aware that race day is Sunday and avoid the trails with the bright orange course markers (unless you're racing). Some of these guys are EXTREMELY fast and may not see the little ones on their quads and 50s.

If you're interested in getting involved in racing, spectating, course working, or rescue operations, the clubs are always LOOKING FOR RACERS and HELPERS  . Check out the Road Runners website HERE for more info and links to other race clubs.

Yeah It's a good time but very time consuming to compete seriously. Now, I'm just in it for the fun. Not going to make the Sept. race as it will be smoking. I plan to work a check for the OTB race in October. If anyone is interested that would be a good way to see what it's all about. The team races are always a blast also.
