I really tried hard to use dualsportmaps.com to to track my ride today and post the route here. I was able to draw a track and load it into my Android phone app. Unfortunately, I ended up screwing up the entire track on the web site when I got back home.

Anyway, I started out at Nessy's Burgers (I-15 and Hwy 76) then rode up Nate Harrison Grade Rd. to Palomar. Then, took the pavement down past Lake Henshaw. Then I scooted up Mesa Grande (so green and beautiful), turned right on Black Canyon Rd. and rode more dirt into Ramona. Then, back to I-15.

This I did solo on my Scrambler AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The cached maps using Dual Sport Maps Android app worked perfectly. I just followed the thin blue line. I rode the entire loop in "airplane" mode. It was about a 100 mile loop and my HTC Evo Shift only drained about 50% battery.

FYI. There is still some snow up at Palomar and it's melting across the Nate Harrison Grade Rd., so it is a bit MUDDY through the top. No biggie, if my Scrambler can make it you adventure dudes should be cool.

Black Canyon was FUN! First time for me on those two trails. Some day I will join you guys on a ride.
