SMTS ride Bishop 9-24/25

Recommended Posts

I'll be in Utah this week so I can't do this ride but I've ridden all these tracks and there's some very good stuff around Bishop. Jerry Counts has spent many years findind or building single track trails up there and on some sections the pucker factor is high and the views amazing. If you want to be challenged do this ride.

Not enough temptation Don. The Coronado Speed Festival is also this weekend and Julie preferred that over a 7 hour road trip.

I do want to ride the Bishop area, just can't make it this weekend. Reading the entry form background information on the SMTS it appears that all the tracks are available at GPXchange. I'd be glad to go for it next season or in a couple weeks when we do that road trip.

I am 92% in. Had planned on this trip anyway. I was thinking of leaving early afternoon Friday. Like 2pm ish. Live in Carlsbad, work in Vista.
