Some local singletrack?

Recommended Posts

Help a brother out. :tease: Heading back home to the NW in about 6 weeks. Been riding some of your desert stuff this winter and having a blast. Looking for some local (without giving away any secret spots) rolley poley singletrack. Maybe some banked corners, funky climbs, yada yada yada. Something to get me back in the groove for heading home. Away this weekend by next weekend looks open.

Any suggestions appreciated!

There's always Corral Canyon, except for this weekend.

You can find some cute li'l trails out at McCain Valley too, if you know where to look.

2 hrs is still local around here. Big Bear/ Arrowhead/ Crestline.

I spoke with a guy today who lives in Big Bear. The snow is pretty deep up that way, according to him.

Hook up with someone who knows the single track from the old Tecate enduro outside of Rancho Sta Veronica. It's world class single track and there's lots, 100's of miles, of it. If you're a strong B rider this is for you.

RSV is ~15 miles below Tecate in Mex - A lot of the single track is now closed but I'm sure there is also lots of accessible ST
