Afry 1 Posted February 20, 2015 I just signed up again for their third annual rally (I missed last year). This is a great time with incredible riding, the waypoints you try and find are in my favorite place to ride. The scenery and trails are the best! It sounds expensive but when you factor in 3 nights and all your food (excellent meals) it's not bad at all. The comrade is great with many knowledgeable industry folks there not to mention Gary Laplante's help when riding the special sections. http://www.cycleworld.com/adventure-rally-series-sierra-edition-overview/

Afry 1 Posted May 18, 2015 Arnie are they saying big bikes only? No but street legal. A 450/500/525 etc would actually be perfect. I will be on the 950.
Afry 1 Posted May 28, 2015 Looks like we have a 5 rider team so far. This video explains the event best: https://youtu.be/IgyA67XdaWg Signups at at 40% right now with a max of 80-100 riders.
Afry 1 Posted July 31, 2015 Team Sierra Thunder is in! Me, bigtodd, ToddLite, catalina38, GalacticGS I have on good authority that there is a new sponsor - "We will have more sponsors attending, including the Glenfiddich team. In the Rockies, they called themselves "Wandering Spirits". Pretty apt name."
ADV Bum 205 Posted August 1, 2015 Seems that extra $100 is a good deal to not have to sleep with 3 others for three nights.
Afry 1 Posted August 2, 2015 Most rooms are doubles and that $100 is a couple nights in the bar...just saying
