KTMrad 508 Posted March 16, 2011 Seems he is use to Gov agencies purchasing his gear and not priced for the common man. You get what you pay for !
dsfox 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Great as always to see everyone...and we had alot of folks sign up for memberships....Old and New.....which is cool..... I thought the presentation was interesting...and even though my $250 Fieldsheer jacket is probably junk, I didnt' take offense to anything wayne said....life is too short to be TOOO sensitive about such things......and I ride the street as little as possible for the safety factor....much prefer to take my chances in the dirt..... I'm with rex...just give me the facts!........BUT I also agree that at the same time, BETTER to do that WITHOUT singling specific people out.....not everyone appreciates that.....but hey, no one is perfect...I think wayne didn't intend any harm..... mctrails 38 Posted March 17, 2011 Good to see everyone last night. Very interesting presentation from Wayne. I sure learned a lot about riding gear. Sounds like he knows what he's talking about. And the big question is, "What is the speed limit when riding the trails through Anza Borrego State Park?" I got an email from Ranger Tull today apologizing for missing the meeting. He said he and his wife just came down with the flu bug that is going around. Also said he is planning to come to the next meeting.
JohnnyAirtime 2 Posted March 19, 2011 Missed it too... No flu here, just other priorities took over. Darn it.
