ride reports are the next best thing to being out there... Thanks for the report bagstr!

rex- did your kick stand fail?

Don- are those dogs from the 80s? They look pretty good for a pet of that vintage; but you do take really good care of your things

It was indeed a great day. The weather was perfect, the dust was minimal and the pace was brisk.

Slut.. I think I was the victim of soft sand and the notorious Husky Kickstand angle.

When I was there last spring, the road was flooded by the "dry" lake and blocked by a gate. What was your solution? PM me, if needed.

At the gravel yard the "dry lake" and the one legal crossing were in the " just lost the standing water" mode.

Our solution was commitment and a bit of luck as we cleaned it both directions.

Had a great time out their guys hopefully their will be another ride out here maybe the 4-5-6th? If not I'll be out here.

Beez are you talking about coyote canyon? That's the only area I know that's blocked by a gate during times of the year for the sheep. The only gate by the dry lake is at the rock quarry

Hi Bob

I was on my way to meet my 70 year old brother in OW when I stopped by to say hi to Dave and the guys. I usually bring the Vintage Huskys for us to do our annual sibling rivalry old fart desert ride.

No my dogs are not quite that old but they are the only creatures who would be able to tolerate my strange personality that long.

Wolfie (Wolf Hybrid) 9yrs

Bella (Husky) 7yrs

I told both of them you are an animal guy and worked at Sea World. So they both said you must be OK and to say HI (WOOF).

Don
