He told me to stay off of them for six to eight weeks. Here's a thought: You might want to ask your specialist about an ultrasoundic wave simulator? I broke my shoulder a few years back and fusing the 2 unions was going real slow. Upon using the below, twice a day for 20 minutes my shoulder fused together in a few short weeks. I was quite skeptical that it would work, but tried it anyway. See if this will work for your injury.
