KIP 0 Posted June 27, 2009 Edit - Loaded the pictures on to a CD and now they work on my computer - Just can't put the sdhc card in and get a good read. I got a new point and click Lumix 10 megapixel camera with an 8 GB Patriot memory card. The pictures look fine on the camera but some of them are washed out when I put them in the computer. paulmbowers 236 Posted June 27, 2009 Yes, you have some problems. Look at the dark band across the middle of the top image, and a similar band across the bottom of the bottom image. The other images have similar issues. Return the camera. Please tell me you bought it locally, not at Abe's of Maine, Broadway Photo or other price traps- right?? Could it be a problem with my computer reading the disk? or a sd card problem? I am going to take the sd card down to costco and see if the photos upload there. I doubt it's a problem with the card (never seen one- they either work, or they don't) and would be very surprised if it were a computer issue. Might want to take the camera and the box with you to costco. Pick one image off the card and have them make a single print. I'd choose the bottom one in your selection, it has the most obvious flaw (notwithstanding the KLR) and see what you get. Let us know how it turns out. KIP 0 Posted June 28, 2009 Ok - I took the camera back but the pictures looked fine on fry's computer. Went to wall mart and loaded the pictures to CDs. They look fine. I guess my computer has the issue with the SD reader or something. Thank's for the comments - except Bikeslut's These pictures are of the KLR in the Ozarks near Table Rock Lake.
