I ride a KLR650 and need to know if I must have a green sticker on this bike if its plated?

No. If it is currently plated you do not need a green sticker. I used to get both just to support the "off road" programs, but I have heard they were not using the "off road" money for what it was intended for, so I quite getting green stickers. Ken
