Big bear rideable yet? April 1 weekend

Anyone know how it’s looking up there? Headed up in 2 weeks with the gf, wondering if I should bring the bike.

Don't know about riding conditions in BB now but, I do know that for some...a dual-sport motorcycle is like the American Express Card...you "never leave home without it!" 😉

Areas of it will be rideable.  Some routes are closed for the season though.  Skyline, Clarks Grade, some of the routes on the north side of the lake will have closed gates.  We found that when the gates are closed, it's usually for good reason.  The routes have frozen dirt and so also, ice on top.  You should probably look on the San Bernardino Forest website to see what routes are closed for the winter.  That, or call  a rangers station.

Looks like the camp grounds open up April 22, so I'm assuming the trails are the same. Cactus flats is open year round according to the website. No answer on the phone yet.
