I am interested.         Would this be fitting for a midsize adventure bike (900cc) with 80/20 tires?     Yes, still trying to burn up my tires to switch out to 50/50s..arggh!

Saturdays/Sundays work for me.

Ok, great . Let's ride Sunday . Room for 3 more.

Yes your midsize adventure bike would do just fine . I can help burn off the old tread  🙂

Gems of this route include :

* McCains' ohv area

*Anza Borrego Desert State Park .

*Actual Mountain Spring

*Table Mountain

* Mountain Springs County Off Road Park

* Rare hidden GPS Tracks

* View of the little peak "Squaw Tit"

Not sure what prospecter named it hundreds of years ago 🤔

I will be there.  I've never been to the "oak tree".  So if you see a guy wandering around lost...it's probably me.  ;)

Hell's ya ,  your friend can join and I want to meet him.

His Twin Honda is perfect for Big ADVenture Destination like this

I'm excited to be able to use the back country route.

Man I hope you heal better faster ,

It's customary on here for an experienced rider too lead a NooB ride when he comes back from a get off like that.

 At least you have time to plan the beg lev route while your healing.... fhankyou for giving back to the ds communion .

What did you get for Xmas?

Hi Randy.  I definitely would have joined your ride, but I did sign up for Thumpers ride first.   I've ridden once with Thumper on the Oct 3 "Noob" ride.

Thumper.... I know you are an advanced rider.  I don't want to slow you or anyone else down.   If there are really tough obstacles, I may not fare well...short legs, tall bike syndrome. lol.  About the roughest I've done on this bike is Cedar Creek Rd (off of Three sisters trailhead),  Black Mountain to the top/trees and Tecate Peak.  THese were not hard for me at all, but they are certainly more advanced than Otay MTN Truck trail.

Also,  I don't yet have GPS set up for riding, I definitely don't want to get lost in the middle of nowhere.   I need to learn from someone how best to set GPS up.   I'm not real phone savvy.

Thankyou , but I'm hardly advanced.

Wet and reckess is more like it.

If you can do Cedar Creek you can do this.

If you can do Tecate peek,  you can do this.

This ride is almost noob level. By noob I mean cedar creek is more advanced than noob.

If you like Otay, then quite possibly 😉 you will enjoy yourself on this destination. .

We will be taking the mostly novice dirt route (next week will be slightly more enduro)

Don't worry,  I'm not going to break you off some, like I accidently did to crfxr.

Let me know in advance if your gonna flake.

Room for 1 more rider.
