WarnerSprings-Anza Exploratory Ride

Recommended Posts

Anybody up for checkin out the the country north & east of Warner Springs on Saturday?

I took a ride out there two weeks ago and it was great. The terrain is moderate, fire roads and quad tracks, hard pack and some rock sections. I only scratched a small part of the area riding 50 miles almost all dirt.

For this trip I want to go in kinda deep, may be into ABSP and see what's become of the "Turkey Track" area since the State closed the Anza Trail to thru traffic.

Self-sufficient is the word here, I expect the riding to be of moderate difficulty with some rocky-technical sections once in a while.

Holcomb Village would be the starting point.

I'm going, if anyone wants to go let me know and we can work on the details.

Dang! I can't go this weekend. I have a motocross race at Perris.

That area is next on my list to explore.

Please let me know if you head out there again any time soon.

I live not too far from Warner Springs. We could base from there and do a little motocross too.

I will await the ride report and GPS tracks. :scratch_one-s_head:

Did you make it down the Turkey Track?

I'm curious what condition it's in.

Yeah, sure did.

I'll provide a little description of the ride and I have a few pictures too, but I can't post them till tonite.

I'll post them in the "Ride Write-ups, Stories" section.
