I sure enjoy it out there. Lotsa smoke from the border fire. Got a late start, on top by 10:00, thought it might get to hot but it was good!

Very nice, Jimbo. Great photos. I've never been up there and not enjoyed it. 

 

Did you know there's a BLM range at the end of the OMTT? Just before you exit the Alta Road gate near Otay. Nothing fancy, just shooting across a small gorge into a mountain. Targets set up.

It's tough to get to in a car but a truck, 4x4 or bike is fine. Plinked a little yesterday.

Did not know about the BLM range, but people are still out there shooting. I have ridden where the pin is, took the trail to the right once and just turned around. I've been staying on the North East side.

Right where the pin is where a lot of people park on 94 and shoot ( the pink gate ). Also out off of Marron Valley Rd. in several places.

Yeah, Jim, that's on the other (I-94) side. The range I'm talking about is on the Otay side.

From what im aware of shooting out there is prohibited during fire season. Signs posted. I usually shoot there in the winter.
