New to SD Dual sport riding

Hey everyone,

I just joined this forum and love the write-ups and photos. I move here from Mammoth where I owned a older Yamaha 400 two stroke. I now have a DRZ 400 dual sport and yesterday was my first day out. We rode out of Pine Valley Rd. and I had a great time on the single tracks around Corral Canyon.

I'm looking forward to exploring SD county with others who know their way around..

Welcome Ketcham It sounds like you've been snooping around the site a bit, so the only thing left for you to do is post a ride for us to join you on.

If you arrived around 10, you rode right past me and Bikeslut packing up. It was near perfect conditions Sunday, especially early in the morning.

I arrived around noon with a brown Tundra & trailer. The conditions were great and I had the best time riding those back trails. My buddy (who was on a XR400) says there are plenty of great single track riding around the county.

I'm stoked to be back riding again (sold my old bike before moving from Mammoth) and I can't wait to join in on some rides...
