Everybody roost Meatmord.

Did you pick up a ratio-rite yet ?

Or two spare spark plugs?

Or your spark plug wrench?

Or your 5 gallon quick dump fuel cell.

& 2 cycle oil.

You won't be changing the motor oil in this bike .

it doesn't use motorcycle oil.

It uses 2 cycle oil(premix)

If the 4strokes on a thumper are:

Suck

Blow

Push

Pull

Then what are the 2strokes on the smokers?

I got ratio-rite, some oil to mix with gas, gas tank. no spark plug or wrench. will get soon.

I'm pretty sure the 2strokes is:

Suck & Blow

Those are the only two strokes you really need.

I'm bumping this thread from the grave since I'm in a really familiar predicament (I truly apologize)

I see you ended up getting a yz250. Did you ever end up getting a ride on the WR or KTM 450 to compare to the YZ? I'm currently on my XR250L, and want to get a higher HP and better suspensioned bike. A plate is a need for me unfortunately. Thanks!

Well...I was thinking green sticker, but that is mostly because i believe it will be more powerful and lighter.

The weight difference between the Dual Sport Beta (RS) and Dirt (RR) for the 2008 model is only 6 pounds. If you can find one under 4K jump on it. Get a plated bike!

He got a YZ which ultimately meant he got the worst of both worlds. He can't ride the bike he wants to ride on the types of riding he wants to do (where you need a plate.) I think he's selling his CRF to buy a plated 4 stroke now, but I'll let him chime in.

KTM 450EXC-F or Husky FE450S or Beta 450RS these are all full fledged offroad bikes that can be even raced out the box that happen to be US street legal from the dealer.
