I'm starting to like having weekdays off.

We started at Grapevine Canyon and ended up in Ocotillo Wells. Ran a bunch of sand washes around Anza Borrego. Had a late lunch in Borrego Springs, got bit by a dog at the restaurant, not bad but it sucked nonetheless.. After lunch was back up Montezuma to Jasper Canyon and back to the trucks.

THe conditions were PERFECT. The sand was firm, no dust. Super fast. Randy kept a great pace on the KTM. Alex rode sweep for us. The desert was absolutely deserted (go figure ) We saw 5 trucks throughout the day and 3 of them were parked. No bikes, quads nothing. Ocotillo Wells was a ghost town of tire tracks. On most of the trails and washes we road we were the first to lay tracks after the rains. We had the entire Anza Borrego Desert to ourselves.
