bikeslut 1 Posted May 12, 2015 Lol- I've seen this before, but went through this yesterday...wife keeps asking me about the new drapes and couches...the kids...the dogs....finally she asks "are you stressed about all this?"...."no...my bike was bogging today, and I have to pull the carb again"....on a related note. Has anybody added the pumper carb, and is it worth $600?
Honda90 0 Posted May 12, 2015 There's a hilarious skit based on this same idea.
Bp619 104 Posted May 12, 2015 I had for for carb on my drz and my dad's had stock really big difference in power and Crack of throttle especially. Only down side I had was I had clarke tank and I could not pull choke out hit on tank but carb was dialed in and never needed it, if in high altitude or cold I could see that being a problem. Did use probably 20% more gas too but still over 40mpg
TrophyHunter 15 Posted May 12, 2015 https://www.procycle.us/bikepages/drz400.html#fuel The pumper on my DR650 was night & day. Better response and power throughout with more top end. Low end control - pumper v CV diaphragm response - was much better. Along the same lines as the OP. Different thought processes. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/22/why-men-shouldnt-write-advice-columns_n_1373270.html
