bikeslut 1 Posted August 31, 2014 A couple of us made some plans for an early Corral ride...the people that made it:paulmbowers, Ahmed and his kin, myself and 1kstep. Kernan, 1, 2 and Ranger...chad's bike was acting up so "we" took the trail 11 bail out...we'll, all "we" except bowers...fat dumb and happy listening to his xmradio, he just blew by us (probably listening to Blue Bayou)...so the others bailed, and I tried to run him down...I found him... bikeslut 1 Posted August 31, 2014 about 88 degrees by the time we left; the husky guys had just loaded up and were ready to roll.. two KTMs and one red bike stopped at crossroads just as we were leaving. Ahmed got some footage from his go-pro... I expect carnage

EKN8404 0 Posted August 31, 2014 Hey Bikeslut, that was me and my buddies that drove up as yall was leaving. I wish we made it when you guys did because it was hot. We ran into some other guys both on KTM's and they was telling us about the new single track 12 but didnt make it. I wore the guys out after taking them down Bronco Peak Connector. Wish we could have made it there at the same time, would have been alot "cooler" lol.
Logroller 1 Posted August 31, 2014 Ya'll are pros with them early am hrs and high temp riding. I am a wee rider in comparison. Although, I did sleep in until 9am. Of course, not without waking 4 times throughout the night including a 4:30 time slot, at which I slightly pondered the thought of going, and then realized it was all a figment of my drowsy imagination. I think 12 is like 7+ miles... speaking for JUST myself, Ranger is the toughest trail I actually enjoy MOST of. As Paul pointed out, it is one long black diamond (with some bail outs), rather than looping the other routes together. You can keep 3A, 5 and 7, but I really enjoy the others. If you decide you want an EARLY Sunday run sometime, post up.
bikeslut 1 Posted August 31, 2014 I wore the guys out after taking them down Bronco Peak Connector. oh... down... that makes it a bit easier, but still no walk in the park when it's 90 degrees. Good job!
