SCHWINN 0 Posted July 29, 2014 "Baja Turtle" Ken Kosiorek passed away this past weekend riding in Big Bear. Ken will be remembered as completing several Baja 1000's solo, but riding to and from the start/finish line from his home on his plated XR650. Not feeling well he stop and by the time help was retrieved, Ken had passed away.. Carlos with Baja Pits shared with me that Ken had two requests if he ever passed. 1- to have and military funeral in San Deigo and 2nd- a memorial in Baja at Mikes Sky Rancho.I am so very sad, Ken was a man of all heart, h

kkug 140 Posted July 29, 2014 Wow he asked to be Facebook friends when we were putting on the Dana Niesler memorial ride. I was looking forward to meeting him at the ride but he did not make it. I unfriended him because of the stuff he was posting on Facebook. To bad I did not get to meet him. Another Baja ledgend gone--- so sad. RIP Ken
