REV5 0 Posted July 21, 2014 My beta zero has a cracked fork tube that needs some tig love. Does anybody know any N.A.S.A welders or a welder that can do this (they dont have to be n.a.s.a). It was funny because I was talking to someone about this and they said, "oh I had a nasa welder repair my fork tube and you cant even tell it was welded".I thought cool, let me get his number. For some reason he couldnt find it or remember the guys name. Oh well i thought it was funny. anyways I thought I would try here.

The man can weld anything...any type of material(s)...he did my front fork on my KTM. He is located in So. Escondido. Good guy, reasonable pricing and quality work. tomh 0 Posted August 5, 2014 I welded a trials bike lower fork tube for Doc from Motoworld a few years back but never told him I was a NASA welder. Make sure they dye penetrant the weld so you won't get a surprise leak from a small defect.

Make sure they dye penetrant the weld so you won't get a surprise leak from a small defect. I spoke with a couple of people and they said, "because its cracked from top to bottom that it really would be better to find a new tube". I guess because of the warp issue. I did find a tube in New York from The Tyals Shop. Its a different color and the adjuster looks different but its from the same year. Waiting to hear from Roberts contacts in italy (which could be awhile) before I do anything. Thank you for the reply Tom
